Meet our new wine contributor, Kristen Oliveri

I want to formally introduce you to our new wine contributor, Kristen Oliveri!

When I met Kristen, we instantly clicked and I knew I wanted to collaborate with her. As an accomplished food journalist she has an extensive knowledge of wine. And, as a new North Fork resident she has been exploring everything the North Fork wine trail has to offer.

I knew she would be able to give you all the

wine content that has been lacking here. Because, I admittedly, know nothing about wine. (Just that I like to drink it )

"Kristen Oliveri is a career journalist focused on the food, finance, travel and the wellness industry. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Staten Island, Kristen spent almost 15 years as a Manhattan resident before making the North Fork her permanent home in Spring of 2020.

She welcomed her daughter Giuliana into the world New Year’s Day a few months prior and continues to work full-time from the comfort of her home office in Southold.

While her day job is focused on the Private Wealth sector of finance (read: how the ultra-rich live, play & invest) she also has a freelance career primarily focused on food, wine and travel.

While writing about places like Singapore, Bali, Italy, Geneva, the Caribbean and beyond, she felt cosmically inspired by the amazing people she would meet on a day-to-day basis, so she found the need to create her own site with her own very unique voice. A voice of none other than an Outer Boro Broad.

Today, she loves interviewing female entrepreneurs who are doing inspiring things to change their communities.

In her spare time she adores cooking, practicing yoga, ballroom dancing and traveling the world (or the US for the time being) with her husband and daughter."
